 Show your workings is my online creative journal showcasing my craft and poetry. The title comes from one of my poems as seen on Turbine

I was was born to the sound of dirt bikes on the fire-breaks in the Hutt Valley, New Zealand. My ancestors hail from: England (Essex and Kent), Ireland (Kerry), Scotland (Knockandhu – Moray and Dunoon – Argyll) and from the Greek village of Exogi, Ithaka.

I live in the sea-side village of Paekakariki, on the Kapiti Coast. In 2009 I completed an MA in creative writing at Victoria University. My poetry has been published in many journals in New Zealand and Australia. Most recently I've had a chap-book of poems published by Seraph Press called Watching for Smoke. My background is in book-selling, publishing and literary events management.
